The Henson AL13 Medium razor has slightly more blade exposure and a wider blade gap than the Henson AL13 Mild. This allows the medium to handle thicker and longer hair, but requires more attention when shaving.

Being made to aerospace standards, means extremely tight tolerances. This makes for the most accurate blade exposure on the market, which means your blade sits in the exact same position every time. The Henson razor head also supports the blade closer to the blade edge, preventing vibration in the blade (chatter). Less chatter means less irritation and a better shave every time.
